7 Plank Wagon, Running Number 1655 in 'The Fife Coal Co. Ltd' Brown Livery Fife Coal Co. Ltd had a good number of collieries and Leven 1 was sunk in 1878 with a second pit, called Leven 2, the following year. These pits took their name from the nearby estuary of the River Leven, which was a constant flood threat to the mines. They were served by a branch off the North British Railway and there was a rail link to the coal docks at Methil. The two Leven pits closed in 1930 and, today, Methil docks serve new needs. The model (37-075K1) was an end-door wagon in dark brown and numbered 1655. This model was produced as the Scottish wagon for the Bachmann Collectors Club
