With the Autumn edition of the Bachmann Times came the news of our latest limited edition models which are produced exclusively for members of the Bachmann Collectors Club.

In OO scale we have the Class 47 Diesel Locomotive No. 47778 ‘Duke of Edinburgh’s Award’ in the attractive EWS maroon and gold livery (32-817K). The real locomotive entered traffic in 1965 as No. D1666 and was the first of the Class to be named - receiving the name 'Odin' at Cardiff Canton TMD in March of the same year. Following several number changes the final identity, No. 47778, was allocated in 1993 and EWS acquired the locomotive in 2002, after which it received EWS livery and the name 'Duke of Edinburgh's Award'. Our model includes etched name-plates and is priced at £159.95 (32-817K).

Our next N scale Limited Edition is the 14T Tank Wagon in Admiralty Naval Stores Department livery (373-675K). Our model is based on a wagon built in 1918 by Hurst Nelson which would have been used to transport highly flammable class A liquids such as petroleum spirit to service the fleet of the Admiralty. This wagon is available singularly, priced at £21.95 (373-675K), or four can be purchased at the special price of £75.00 (373-675K4).

Both models are in stock now so click on the images above to purchase yours today!
