On Saturday 3rd September around 150 members of the Bachmann Collectors Club enjoyed a day out at the East Lancashire Railway for our 2016 Members Day. The day included guided tours of the railway's locomotive and carriage works, train rides, a visit to the Bury Transport Museum - including the Bachmann Showcase - and drive a locomotive experiences for some lucky members.
Despite the unseasonably wet weather, everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable day out and we have received lots of great feedback from those who joined us on the day - thank you for taking the time to get in touch! We would also like to pass on our thanks to all the staff and volunteers at the East Lancashire Railway for their hard work both before the event and on the day.
